If you want to personalize your schedule, we can talk about what's best for you.

Best Hours: I am leaving this out, as we have some other part timers working during the week. You would decide on the times... morning, evening, late evening, etc.... And what days you can work. Stuart's other son will organize the schedule.

Typical Schedule:

Arrive at Condo

Neck and back stretch

Exercises

Wrist and Arm Exercises

Walking outside, or on Treadmill.

Squat machine exercises.

Snack, Juice, something

He sits, watches TV.

You start preparing lunch.

Shower, every other day.

After lunch, clean, laundry, whatever is needed.

Afternoons, he'll probably just sit and watch TV, or sleep in the chair.

Pay:

We can pay you each week, or whatever is best for you. We feel that if we start at $22 per hour, that is fair.

Most of the time you will be either on you computer, or on your phone, or reading. Remember, most of his day is spent sitting and watching TV, or sitting and sleeping.

Emotions!!!

Emotions run high. Sometimes my dad is quiet. Sometimes he's needy and calling for you. Sometimes he's grumpy. Sometimes he's a total asshole. You get the picture. We don't expect each day to be perfect. Or even close. However, he is our dad, and we are trying to make him comfortable, while forcing... yes, forcing... him to do some exercise so he can still move around the condo by himself, and not spend the rest of his life in bed.

Touching

You know this is a physical job. From the walker, to the wheelchair, to exercises, to helping him get dressed, bathed, etc. Hopefully you've done this type of work before. If not, you will learn, and there will be times you will be his support system, his hygienist, his maid or butler, and his 'friend'. It's not easy. But, if you like this kind of work and challenge, let me know.
